Epic Games is offering the game The Evil Withinfrom Bethesda, for free until October 26th on the Epic Games Store, with the sequel The Evil Within 2 free immediately afterwards, between October 26th and November 2nd.
The games are part of the Epic Games Store’s traditional Free Games promotion, in which you can add the titles to your library for a week and, later, the game returns to its original price in the store. Until 12pm on October 26th it is possible to pick up Eternal Threads e The Evil Within; From 12:01 pm on the same day, games will be free Tandem: A Tale of Shadows e The Evil Within 2.
You only need to have an account on the Epic Games service to add games to your library. After the period, the titles remain in your library to play whenever you want, so even if you don’t have a PC with the requirements to run the game, it’s worth adding them through the promotional page.
It’s quite common for Epic Games to include free themed games in the week’s promotions and, with Halloween approaching, the company added the two horror games in the series The Evil Within. Both have a good score on Metacritic: The Evil Within with a grade of 8.5 and The Evil Within 2 com 8.6.
To play The Evil Within You must have at least an Intel Core processor with four or more cores, 4 GB of RAM, 50 GB of disk space and a GeForce GTX 460 graphics card or equivalent with 1 GB of VRAM.
The minimum requirements for The Evil Within 2 require an Intel Core i5-2400 or AMD FX-8320 processor, 8 GB of RAM, 40 GB of disk space and a 2 GB NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660 or 3 GB AMD HD 7970 graphics card. Remembering that these are the minimum to run with everything at low quality, a more powerful setup than this will be able to run the game without problems.
