Realme will present to the world a new model of its GT series of most premium devices. The Realme GT Neo 5 should be the manufacturer’s first smartphone to support 240 W fast charging.

In a post on the Chinese social network Weibo, Realme confirmed the reveal of the GT Neo 5 on February 9th. Thus, you will have to wait a few days to learn more about the product. The brand has already brought information about the 240 W charger itself, saying only that the device would be announced soon. Apparently, the time is coming.

The presentation will take place in China, at 2 pm local time, or at 3 am Brasilia time. In the teaser, the highlight is support for high charging power, with other details yet to be confirmed.

The rumors, on the other hand, are in full swing, and we have already anticipated some news about the device. Supposedly, it should have a new design, very different from its previous generation. It should even be equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1 processor, but another variant should have the MediaTek Dimensity 8200 chipset.

Furthermore, support for fast charging will only be available in the version with the Snapdragon 8 Plus Gen 1, while the option with MediaTek will support a 150 W charge. 7 inches with 144 Hz rate.
