During a private event that took place recently, the brand revealed the launch date of the Poco X5 Pro to its fans. At the same time, Xiaomi started publishing teasers confirming the presentation of the new device soon. On Twitter, she hinted at the arrival of an X-series device, confirming the player Hardik Pandya as a brand ambassador.
As for the presentation date itself, the user Sudipta Debnath, known as @imsudipta_deb on Twitter, published the image confirming the presentation of the Poco X5 Pro on February 6, also showing the design of the device. Its body has a flat finish, with a stripe at the top where the camera module and the brand’s logo are located.
Here, it demonstrates strong similarities to the recently announced Redmi Note 12 Pro Speed Edition, which is available in China. This reinforces the rumors that the Poco X5 Pro will even be a renamed version of the Chinese model. Thus, we can expect the use of Snapdragon 778G processor and 108 MP main rear camera.
Supposed price has also been leaked
The possible price range of the Poco X5 Pro was revealed by Debayan Roy, known as @Gadgetsdata on Twitter. According to him, the device will be priced between 21,000 and 23,000 Indian rupees (approximately R$ 1,300 and R$ 1,440), being offered in two different variants.
Apparently, it will feature a version with 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of internal space, and another with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of storage.
Now, it remains to wait for the presentation of the device on the 6th of February. Despite not being publicly confirmed, the fact that the date was revealed at a fan event indicates that it really should be shown on that date.
