Poco X5 Pro
The most advanced device among those listed should be a rebranded version of the Redmi Note 12 Pro Speed Edition. This means that it has the Snapdragon 778G processor as the main performance component, with the Adreno 642L GPU.
Its screen will have 6.67 inches, with AMOLED technology and Full HD + resolution of 1,080 x 2,400 pixels. This panel will still feature refresh rates at 120 Hz, and Gorilla Glass 5 protection.
The Poco X5 Pro will have a main camera of 108 MP, aligned with an ultrawide of 8 MP and macro of 2 MP. On the front section, a 16 MP component should be responsible for selfies.
With IP68 certification, the construction of the smartphone will house a 5,000 mAh battery, with support for 67 W recharges via USB-C cable. Its official dimensions will be 162.1 x 76 x 7.9 mm, with a weight of 181 g.
In turn, the Poco X5 should have the characteristics inherited from the Redmi Note 12 5G. However, the device will come with a Snapdragon 695 processor (instead of the Snapdragon 4 Gen 1 of the Xiaomi model), along with 6 GB of RAM.
Its AMOLED screen should be similar to that of the Pro model, with 6.67 inches, Full HD + resolution and 120 Hz. However, in this case the protection against shocks happens with Gorilla Glass 3.
The main camera of the Poco X5 will have 48 MP, with 8 MP ultrawide and 2 MP macro. The front lens will arrive together with a 13 MP sensor.
Its resistance against water and dust is guaranteed by an IP54 certification, and the battery remains at 5,000 mAh — however, with 33 W recharges. The dimensions are also quite similar, with 165.8 x 76.2 x 7.98 mm and 189 g.
According to the listing, both handsets will be sold in black and blue. The yellow option will be exclusive to the Poco X5 Pro, while the Poco X5 will also have a green model.
Previous rumors have already pointed out that the Poco X5 Pro should be released on February 6th. This variant is expected to be priced in the range of 21-23 thousand rupees, equivalent to around R$1,300-1,500. Considering Xiaomi’s history in Brazil, it is likely that both will arrive here at some point in the coming months.
