Apple introduced some new products this week, including updated MacBook Pro and Mac Mini with M2 Pro and M2 Max processors. Apparently, however, they were scheduled for last year, and had their launch postponed by the brand.

There were many rumors in 2022 that said that Apple was preparing to hold an event where it would present new Macs, including, mainly, the new MacBook Pro models. In this case, this officialization would happen sometime in the fourth quarter of last year, between October or November. As we now know, nothing happened, and many insiders said the reveal would be delayed to early 2023.

So much so that the arrival of the three new products occurred without much fanfare, through an update on the official website of the brand and sending press releases. She already had a presentation video prepared, which was available both on the company’s official YouTube channel and on its website. Now, users began to find indications that, indeed, they were expected to be revealed in October.

The link to the video on Apple’s portal reveals that it was added in 2022, with the URL referencing last year. Thus, the rumors were correct, and they should have arrived in the last quarter of the year, but something caused the delay.

It is worth remembering that in October, the company updated the iPad Pro, which now has the M2 chip on board, and also the 10th generation iPad. As such, it’s possible that all four products were slated to arrive at a major event, but something changed and the video of the Macs presentation was saved to be published now.

As Apple is unlikely to comment on the matter and confirm the reason for the delay, it will only remain in the imagination of fans of the brand the reason that led it to postpone the presentation of its new Macs in a few months.
