Mario Kart 8 Deluxe | Latest DLC update now has a release date

Mario Kart 8 Deluxe, a racing game for the Nintendo Switch that Nintendo simply refuses to retire — as it still generates tons of money for the company —, should receive the latest wave of updates with new tracks and characters in November. Nintendo has confirmed that the Wave 6 update for Mario Kart 8 Deluxe will be released on November 9th, completing the DLC work for the game. Among the new features of this update are the inclusion of the characters Diddy Kong, Funky Kong, Pauline and Peachette, as well as the DK Mountain tracks, from Mario Kart: Double DashBowser Castle 3, de Super Mario Kartand Rainbow Road from Mario Kart Wii.

The full list of tracks that will be added to the game is as follows:

The biggest joy of this update is actually the inclusion of Diddy Kong as a selectable character, almost making us believe that Nintendo remembers Diddy Kong Racingone that could be argued was a better game than Mario Kart 64.
