Huawei launches Watch GT 3 SE in Brazil with 100 sports modes and lots of battery

Huawei has just updated its line of smart watches sold in Brazil with the Watch GT 3 SE model. The product had already won a global version last year, and kept similar specifications in the national variant.

  • LG may be supplier of micro LED screens for new Apple Watch
  • Galaxy Watch 5 Pro vs Apple Watch Ultra: what changes?

This means that the smartwatch comes with a 1.43-inch screen, in a 46mm build. This panel has a circular shape, with AMOLED technology and a resolution of 466 x 466 pixels.

At the product presentation conference, Huawei highlighted the extensive customization options of the operating system. It is possible, for example, to change the watchfaces based on the clothes you are wearing, by extracting colors and typical elements of the piece.

There is also the possibility of placing a personal photo as the background, with elements overlapping above the clock – something similar to what Apple does on the iPhone or Apple Watch, for example.

The watchface gallery has thousands of different options, with paid or pre-installed alternatives. The Always-On Display is also available to show the time at all times without excessive battery drain.

Huawei Watch GT 3 SE has advanced health features

The watch still has several functions aimed at health and well-being, with more than 100 training modes available. Of these, 18 are professional sports, with outdoor or indoor activities.

With the help of GPS, it even shows the best route back on walks or runs, through the Route Back feature. In addition, the watch is capable of showing information about body conditions in training, oxygen consumption rates (VO2 Max), recovery time and more.

The Watch GT 3 SE still has other traditional sensors in devices of the type, for monitoring heart rate and blood oxygen levels (SpO2). The watch also measures extra stress, sleep and menstrual cycle information.

Training information and body data can be seen in more detail through the smartphone application, where it is also possible to manually classify the quality of the exercises. In addition, new activity programs are set up for the user, intelligently and based on the rhythm of each one.

Lots of battery life and water resistance

The watch’s 35.6g construction offers water resistance up to 50 meters (5 ATM). Therefore, exercising in the rain and activities such as swimming will not be a problem.

According to the information revealed by Huawei, the battery of the watch offers an autonomy of up to 14 days. This time drops to 14 hours with tasks that consume a lot of energy, such as training using GPS.

Pairing with mobile devices occurs via Bluetooth, with a maximum distance of 100 meters. Call rejection, receiving notifications, music management and more are supported.
