Released in the last two years TMNT: The Last Ronin presented an apocalyptic future in which Michelangelo was the only surviving Ninja Turtle of the original group, in an adventure about revenge and redemption. The plot ended with a good hook for a continuation, with the original quartet being replaced by four new and young members.

Now that adventure continues with TMNT: The Last Ronin — The Lost Years #1, where four baby turtles Odyn, Yi, Moja, and Uno were featured in the January issue. They are the heirs to the ninja skills and weapons of Leonardo, Michelangelo, Donatello and Raphael and, with Master Splinter long dead, were created by April O’Neil and her daughter Casey-Marie — who is also named after her father Casey. Jones.
This time, there are two sisters and two brothers, who were co-created by the author of the originals, Kevin Eastman, alongside artist Ben Bishop. As you can imagine, the names of the characters will also have peculiar origins, but different from the classic artists previously honored.
