Airbnb is a great platform to advertise your property and generate income through it. However, if you want to stop being a host, it’s important to know how to cancel an ad on the platform and prevent it from appearing in searches for users.

There are three ways of ad management: pause, hide and disable. You can choose whichever is most appropriate, however confirmed reservations remain active. FreeGameGuide now shows you how to remove your ad from Airbnb.

How to cancel a listing on Airbnb

Before starting the walkthrough, it is important to know the differences between the types of cancellation.

  • Pause: prevent your listing from appearing in Airbnb searches for a period determined by you;

  • Hide: remove your listing indefinitely until you can/want to receive bookings again;

  • Deactivate: Permanently deactivate your listing, however all bookings must be completed to choose this option.

Now that you know what each option means, it’s time to choose which one is best for you and take your ad offline.
