In the plot, Felipe gives life to Reinaldo, a prep teacher and atheist writer who lives in a great internal conflict trying to find out if he is really capable of performing miracles—although he doesn’t believe much in them. It all starts when his wife gets sick and goes into a vegetative state.
Desperate to see the girl’s suffering, he decides to put an end to it, but touching her makes her wake up. What he didn’t know, however, was that his attitude had been filmed by a believer who believed it to be a miracle.
From then on, Samuel (Augusto Madeira), pastor of a humble church, offers all his savings for Reinaldo to preach to his faithful. Moved by money, he accepts the proposal and on his journey as a religious leader who does not believe in God, the professor has his convictions shaken, discovering truths between heaven and the abyss.
