According to an Reviews by PlayTracker, Rockstar Games will delay the release of Grand Theft Auto VI (GTA 6) for PC as a way to increase revenue from game sales. The expectation is that, like Grand Theft Auto V, the game will be released for the computer after a few years.
PlayTracker did an Reviews and found that 44% of GTA 5 players have copies on multiple platforms from different companies (no cross-platform). In other words, in addition to having purchased the game for PC, they also have an additional console. This is a very common strategy to increase sales, as many players prefer to play on PC, but the hype will certainly sell many copies in pre-orders.
Rockstar Games has already announced that GTA 6 will only be released for PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S in 2025. However, the company always releases it later for PC, as the modding and role-playing (RP) community are mostly present on the computer.
It’s worth remembering that this was just the first trailer for Grand Theft Auto VI, revealing the protagonist Lucia and that the entire plot will take place in Vice City, a fictional city inspired by Miami that became famous in GTA Vice City with Tommy Vercetti.
