A study carried out by the platform revealed that three out of four professionals (77.2%) want to change careers in 2023. Based on this scenario, companies and institutions are offering training in the information technology sector, including training in programming, artificial intelligence and data.

Dev Immersion — Alura

Alura, a technology learning ecosystem, announced the new edition of its free online course for those looking to start a career in programming: Dev Immersion. The initiative has five classes that will take place from January 30 to February 3 at 7 pm, in addition to a closing live on February 6. Those interested will be able to register until January 29th, through the Alura website. The course has no prerequisites for participation or age restriction.

T.EX School – Technology Experts

Escola T.EX – Technology Experts announces the launch of more than ten free courses for professionals who want to enter the area or make a career transition. Exclusive content can be accessed immediately and has a certificate of completion.

Of the courses available, the following stand out: Logic of Programming; Agile Methodology with Scrum; UX – User Experience; DEV career; Data Career; Product Career; Cloud Architect Career; Information Security Career; between others.

Last year, the initiative offered 20 exclusive scholarships to black or LGBTQIA+ people with a monthly income of up to R$2,000. Interested parties can check out more information through the T.EX platform.


The Grace Project is an initiative promoted by SOFTEX in partnership with PUCRS that aims to train people in socioeconomically vulnerable situations in IT courses, offering six full scholarships. Those selected will be able to choose from undergraduate courses in the area, including Computer Science, Data Science, Engineering and Information Systems — offered by the Polytechnic School of PUCRS.

To participate, candidates must: have a family income of up to 3 gross monthly minimum wages; having attended high school in a public or private school with a full scholarship; submit the documentation mentioned in the notice; be approved in the entrance examination of any of the school’s on-site IT courses, in the second half of 2023.

Applications can be made until January 30 through the project’s website.

Sirius Education

With the advancement of artificial intelligence (AI), Sirius Education has announced that it is now accepting applications for the free AI bootcamp. The course takes place from February 7th to 9th, remotely, at 7 pm. Students will learn basic concepts and tools to understand the state of the art of generative AI. {reprograma} is an initiative to introduce vulnerable women into the programming market, prioritizing black, trans and transvestites. The program has 40 vacancies open for its two new courses: Front-End and Back-End.

Both opportunities are free, online and aimed at women from all over Brazil, over 18 years old, with little or no programming knowledge and complete secondary education — the latter being a non-mandatory requirement for trans and transvestite women. Those interested can register until February 3, through the reprogram page.
