Despite the name, Meta is not the most recognized company in the metaverse in games

A new document from GDC, the biggest event for game developers in the world, tried to understand what people who make games think about different topics. How much they work, what they work on and, mainly, what they think about the metaverse. Most said they still have no interest in developing games aimed at metaverses.

In addition, the researchers asked respondents which companies have done the best job so far in representing what is, in fact, the so-called metaverse.

Curious point: Even changing the name to Meta and basically putting the term in the spotlight, Mark Zuckerberg’s company is not the most recognized by developers.
