Bicho-Papão: The Tale |  New Stephen King movie gets official poster and trailer

Good news for Stephen King fans: a new film based on a tale by the master of terror already has a release date in Brazil and has just won a poster and an official trailer. It is Bicho-Papão: O Conto, a feature film produced by 20th Century Studios and 21 Laps, which will tell the story of a family pursued by an evil entity.

In the plot, we meet Sadie and Sawyer Harper, two sisters who are sad and heartbroken after the death of their mother and who do not find in their father, Will, the affection and welcome they need. The truth is that Will, a trained therapist, is dealing with his own grief and trying to reframe the pain he feels.

In the midst of all this, a patient of his appears at his house desperate for help and ends up leaving behind a terrible supernatural entity that persecutes families and feeds on the suffering of its victims. From then on, the lives of Will and his daughters become, little by little, a real hell.

What to expect from Bicho-Papão: O Conto?

With a plot filled with suspense, the public can expect a dramatic and somewhat sad story, but with a lot of fright and terror to frighten.

The direction was with Rob Savage (Host) and the script with Scott Beck and Bryan Woods, responsible for A Quiet Place. Mark Heyman, from Cisne Negro, also signs the text.
